I click on the Steam icon and use Run As An Administrator. Then when Steam comes up I click on Play Game. I get the message "Performing first time setup. Installing step 1 or 1". Then it freezes. I have disabled AVG and the firewall, tried it again and get same results. Any other suggestions?
TIA
Regards,
Fred

Hi, Fred, I presume you mean TS2012?
OK, first, verify the game files. Open Steam, go to Library. Right click on TS2012> Properties> Local Files> Verify. Now,you may have to do that several times until no missing files are found. Then, if/ when the game starts, on the Tools and Docs tab, clear the blueprint cache. Hope that works for you!

Fred - I'm not sure if you've mentioned this in other threads, but since you seem to be having a lot of problems with TS-2012, maybe if you posted your system specs it might help to see where/why you're having so many problems.

I have 4GB and 64-bit Windows 7. I have cleared the catch and verified the files several times but will do it again in hopes it will help. Also turned off TSX. No luck with Donner Pass. Thanks for all the input.

Fred

Does your computer have a video card or an on-board video chip?
Is it a desktop or a laptop?

I think you meant if the answer is on-board video chip.
