SD75 wagons with Krellnut's sounds?

Its really easy to get my sounds to work with other cars. Go to the folder where the cars you want the sounds for are. Open up the audio folder for those cars, and look at the name of the xml. Make a copy of the wagon freight xml from the sound pack, and paste it to desktop. Rename the xml on desktop to match the name for the xml for the cars you want the sounds for. Drop it into that open audio folder, say yes to overwrite, and that's it.

Do you know if this procedure works with the SD75 wagon pack? I think I followed this procedure, although it's entirely possible I did something wrong, and the wagon sounds for the SD75 wagons remained the original sounds.

Is there something else I should try?

Are the new wagons in the SD75 pack really new models or repaints of models already available from other DLC?

If they are new could you post a few screen shots? The Steam page does not have any.

Thanks.

I'm not sure about that. I'm still pretty new with RW and don't have a lot of extra DLC yet. They say in the description that the wagons are new ones.

I'd be happy to. I'll get some up later tonight.

When I have RW up in front of me I will compare more closely but a few of those look like "new" repaints of existing rolling stock.

The Centerbeam, flats, 4 shoot hoppers

Low Side

Which leaves the Woodchip Hoppers and BNSF 3-Bay Hoppers as possibly being "really new".

Drop this where you got the one you gave me. Say yes to overwrite. If it doesn't work, make sure Kuju RailsimulatorUS is checked in the object set filter. Its going to work. Let me know though, please.

I have it working now! !!*ok*!!

When I installed the xml file that you attached and tested the sound, it didn't change and was still the default sounds. Hmmm .. !**conf**!
Like the old saying, it was getting late so I decided to 'sleep on it' for awhile. This morning I gave the whole problem a fresh look and discovered that in the SD75 pack the folder structure is a little different than the kuju folder. The wagon.xml file is located in three different places. I was only replacing the xml file in one of the three. After I pasted the new xml in the other two places all is well. !*brav*!
Like I said in my original post, I was probably doing something wrong. Chalk it up to a noob still learning the ins and outs of RW. Thanks for your help and the great sound pack. *!!thnx!!*
