Constant SBHH Errors

Unread postby Bananarama » Sun Jul 15, 2012 7:08 pm

Hi gang,

I've been getting loads of SBHH errors with my routes or anything I've created. Even a new route without DEM or anything else is causing me headaches. Default routes do not appear to be affected, but creating a new route (any template), placing a piece of default track (any), and then a few of my objects or rollingstock (including default) causes a crash upon exiting the driving portion of the sim, and sometimes when loading the affected route. Any of my objects or default, from complex structures to a simple cubes with basic materials applied, is causing me grief. Doesn't matter if it's the default freeroam scenario or a newly created one - same result. I only started noticing this after the last update, and I'm at a loss as to what changed.

FWIW, I'm on Win-XP-32, nVidia 275GTX, Steam and RW3 on it's own partition, and nothing running in the background. I verified game content and also cleared cache several times. I'm at my wits end. !*hp*!
Cheers!

I only get SBHH with your F7's. The default one's are ok it's just the ones that I bought of your site.

Odd, since they're essentially the same file, except the default set has rain effects, and mine only a simple alpha glass image.

It's only when I put the driver icon on it and then try to drive it, otherwise it can be in a scenario and be fine. I've un-installed it and reinstalled it a few time and it still does not work. So I just replace them with the default one and it's all ok.

Marc, I suggest you make a virgin install of RW3, with no DLC whatsoever.
See if you get the SBHHs then.

I suggest reinstalling the Steam client, Marc. Copy your "steamapps" folder to another spot on your hard drive, then uninstall Steam. Run CCleaner : http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download (I use the Registry cleaner as well, but do back up the Registry first) Now, reinstall the Steam client, and paste that "steamapps" folder back in. Verify the files, may have to do that a few times until no errors are found.
