I am creating a new route based loosely on the Logansport and Indiana Southern from the article in Model Railroad magazine some years back.
Here is the problem. When I go to the paint tool not all of the textures show up. For example, when I click on the icon for field textures such as plowed field, corn, brambles and the like, nothing shows. So I go to another route, in this case Rich Garbers Colton and Northern and go to the paintbrush and then click on field textures, a whole bunch appear and several others in other categories under the paintbrush. Why is this and can I get those paint textures into the L&IS?

Your route should a texturing.bin file in the environment folder. What is in the file is what you get for textures to paint with. It sounds like you just used the US default and they do not have plowed fields, the UK terrain textures do.

Craig, a bit of warning. Don't use assets from Rich's routes. Some of them are his creations, and he gets testy about others using them. I'm not presuming you were gonna use them, just a little advice.

Oh, if it's not going to be made public, he doesn't mind. But still, send him a note.

You can do whatever you want with out asking as long as it does not go public. You bought the license to use it on your computor.
