Problem with Krellnut's Wagon Sound Pack

Hey. I downloaded and installed Krellnut's sound pack for RW3 the other day and cant seem to get it to work on all wagons. I sort of figured out that you need to copy the freight xml file and rename it so other, 3rd party, wagons can have krellnut's amazing sounds. I then go in game and place some wagons down and they dont seem to be making custom sounds, just the boring, soft default RW sounds !**conf**!. Could anyone help me out?
Thanks.

I was also hoping for some help with this. I tried to figure it out by simply looking at how they install to the default equipment and thinking about how to apply it to the other pieces but I want to be sure before I start mucking around. After using these excellent sounds for a few months now, I really can't tolerate the horrible default sounds any longer.

Krellnut is almost finishing an update of his wagon sound pack, which will be even more awesome and realistic with new outstanding effects. The (little) waiting will be worth. !*salute*!

About adapting the sounds to other providers (3rd party or RSC packs) let's see how the new pack comes first, and then check how to extend to other vehicles.

Can't wait for that!!!

He says he redid the .bin? Maybe that is the key to getting it to work on DLC rollingstock. :D

Its really easy to get my sounds to work with other cars. Go to the folder where the cars you want the sounds for are. Open up the audio folder for those cars, and look at the name of the xml. Make a copy of the wagon freight xml from the sound pack, and paste it to desktop. Rename the xml on desktop to match the name for the xml for the cars you want the sounds for. Drop it into that open audio folder, say yes to overwrite, and that's it.

On second thought, tell me which cars you want to have sounds for, and I'll make the xml for you and attach it here.

Wow. Thanks for the response, Krellnut. Didnt think i'd be talking to the main man! Yea, everything seems to be in check now. It appears I had another sound pack installed and it was conflicting with yours (It was Armstrong Powerhouse's wagon sound pack, that, well, just wasn't cutting it). I deleted it and everything is working great. Hey and let me know when your new wagon pack drops because ill be willing to make a gameplay demo of it and post it to youtube for ya.
Thanks again !*cheers*!

Do you know if this procedure works with the SD75 wagon pack? I think I followed this procedure, although it's entirely possible I did something wrong, and the wagon sounds for the SD75 wagons remained the original sounds. !**conf**!

I've got a wee bit of a problem with coupling sounds after installing the wagon sound mod. I noticed I'm missing(as in silence) ~ 50% of coupling sounds between rails cars only. Does the coupling sound come from the wagon hits folder? Because that wasn't changed. Right now I'm mystified !*don-know!*
