Scenarios have no driver train What do i do?

Unread postby LionelDave » Tue May 08, 2012 8:49 pm

I have downloaded the new [PC}Foundry Service [Freeware] and the new [PC] Mine Run [Freeware] for the IIR 2012 route.

Both load ok execpt the scenario does NOT have an engine to drive. And I don't know what to do.

RW TOOLS says there is NO "Current Driven Consist". So i can't switch it out.

Any one know what i'M DOING WRONG?

Any help will be greatly appricated.

what scenarios are you talking about? need more info. Some scenarios have you wait for a train to come and you click on it when it arrives as per instructions could be one of those.

Sorry about that. They are the two new IIR scenario's here on this site for the industrial interactive route (IIR) the firsrt is called the "industrial interactive route (IIR) Penn Central Foundry service" and the second one is called "industrial interactive route (IIR) Querry service" and I didn't see anything about waiting for a train to show up. I'll check it out.

As far as I know I do; but the read me file says that I can change out anything I don't have with RW Tools, but I can't find the driveable consist to change it out if I wanted to.

That is why I don't know what to do. RW Tools doesn't show anything missing but it also doesn't show any "Current Driven Consist".

Will that happen if I am missing an engine?

You might want to try to Uninstall and reinstall the scenarios

Thanks for all the help guys. You got me up and running these two scenarios and I feel a lot better about it now.

As usual it was my inability to follow instruction that got me into trouble and it only took me four trys to figure it out. *!embar*! *!embar*!

For some reason I was under the impression that if you could load a vehicle all you had to do was open the scenario for edit and then save the scenario even if no changes were made and it would fix the problem

I did that and it looked like it worked but I now realize that all it did was remove the offending vehicles from the scenario that is why I didn't have a drivable train.

Anyway, thanks again for the help and putting up with me.

Without your help I wouldn't being enjoying railworks as much as i am.

Dave !!*ok*!!
