Template Issue

Is there a way to add lettering to the default coal hopper template and NOT have it "mirror" itself to the other side?
I want to have the words "Rotary Coupler End" on just one side of the coal car in the area with the RR logo.
I know the template has areas that not only mirror the lettering but also reverse it too.
These templates are enough to make a person pull out what's left of their hair.
