FRAPS

How does one make a video without massive loss in framerate? Got 60+ FPS in game, run FRAPS and the video looks like that time I tried sniff... anyway, must be some optimal settings some of you guys who've posted vids are using !*don-know!* Throw me a bone here *!!wink!!*

Everyone knows you are not supposed to sniff but smoke... anyway, the only way i've been able to get a Fraps video that isn't a slideshow is to lower the screen size in Railworks, turn down some detail and shadow options, and run Fraps at 29 frames per second, half sized screen. Fraps is an awesome program, but it just don't work well with Railworks.

It does exactly that on my PC for all my 3D games, no matter what the game engine.
