Another uncompletable scenario

Unread postby OldProf » Sun Mar 25, 2012 3:13 pm

I've been returning to some of the older scenarios, in this case "[B Set] Carriage Shunting at Green Park" on the Bath-Templecomb route. Within two instructions of completion, this scenario could not be completed because the locomotive's tender, which had successfully coupled to several sets of passenger carriages, would not couple to two carriages on Bath Siding 14. I tried coupling at low speed three times, hearing a bump sound each time, but coupling did not take place. Despite already having "Automatic Coupling" checked, I tried a keyboard override, which also failed. I tried saving, quitting, and resuming the scenario, which sometimes resolves such problems, but that also failed.

Has this route been upgraded to RW3 standards?

If anyone remembers completing this scenario successfully, I'd like to know how.

This failure has been reported to RSC support.

The S&D hasn't been touched, as far as I know. The B-Set is a digital traction product, so I don't know who's support you need to contact about that.

Digital Traction may have made them, but I acquired them as DLC from RSC (why, I really can't imagine, since I don't care much for passenger runs).

Added: Or, perhaps not: just discovered that they are located in the DT sub-folder of my RW assets. They are not listed on the DT website, however, or at least I cannot find them there. But then, DT's website is very difficult to read and nearly impossible to navigate.
