I searched for DLC named "realistic sound pack for us rollingstock" but couldn't find any.
Could you be more specific?
Also please tell how you installed it, and what you mean by "not working".

I just said it was a realistic sound pack, not that the name was realistic sound pack... And yeah, that's what I meant by the sound pack.

You put all this information into:Assets\kuju\RailsimulatorUS\Audio\Railvehicles\Wagons right. And not the folder, but all the information in the folder.

There is a "easy-to-install" version of Krellnut's Wagon Sounds on here:
http://freeware.trains-and-drivers.com/ ... ry&catid=6
Edited later: some users are experiencing issues when trying to download from the link above, we are checking what is going wrong.

Automatic install, no manual copy and paste operations, no need of previous back up. Just three clicks to go! *!!wink!!*
This is the level version (step 2) considered by Krellnut the closest to real, when he was recording the sounds.

When asking for help, the more detailed information you can give, the easier it is for folks to help.

File names, error messages, problems encountered, etc.

Ok, for any confusion, I've instaled the wagon sounds pack but I'm not getting any new sounds, only the defualt things. I'm not having any other problems with getting things to work other than sounds. I was able to give a Dash-9 the ES44's lighting and that involved screwing around with things in my asset folder. So the problem may be caused by the way rilworks handles sounds...? !**conf**!
(With the wagon sounds, I put all the sound files into the wagons folder.)

These are usually the steps (from the readme) that cause confusion for Krellnut's wagon sounds:
4. You will see a folder called Volume Changes. Open it up, and see four folders, Step1,Step2,Step3,Full.
7. Choose the level you want to use, open up the folder, copy and paste them into the Wagons folder, when asked to overwrite, click yes to all three, and your done.

By "them" in step 7, Krellnut means the 3 files inside the folder, not the folder itself.
Also make sure you didn't create a "wagons" folder inside the existing "wagons" folder.

You can check for correct installation by opening Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\Audio\RailVehicles\Wagons and comparing files with the ones from wagons.zip. Just comparing file dates will tell you if the files have been correctly written.
Also don't forget that these files are wiped out when updating RW or verifying local files in Steam.

ok, I understood it all and I recopied those files but still no luck, same thing with a GEVO sound pack from trainsim.com.
EDIT: For some reason, the wagon sounds are working, but the gevo sounds aren't
EDIT2: Any other sound pack I download will work, but the ES44AC refuses to use it's new sounds.
EDIT3:Well, now everything is behaving...
