Keeps Installing .NET on Launch

Hi everyone brand new here and to Train Simulation. Meet a person on the MS Flight forums and he made me go buy Train Simulation 2012 basic package...J/K :) Just got it yesterday and everytime I load the simulator it starts to download the .net framewrosk for the hundreth time. What's up with that? And also added a package from this site and can't figure out where it is.

Planning on enjoying the train simulation to off set my flighting simulation.

Thanks for your help in advance! Never owned a train simulation game before, but if I can get the thing to quit loading .net framework on every launch I might enjoy it more! Also not a big fan of Steam but whatever :(
