I go into RW Tools select a route and then select a scenario to edit.

The scenario edit screen comes up but it shows NO consist. none whatso ever. However; when I run the scenario and the consists are there.

I've tried more that 1 route (at least 4) and I also have reinstalled RW_Tools.

Any idea what happened. It was working the last time I tried it about a week ago.

If you're running Windows 7, run RW Tools as Administrator.

I am Running at as adimistrator as far as I know.

If I wasn't why would it show all the routes and all the scenarios each route has and then take me to the scenario edit screen and show me all the data execpt the consists and marker data.

Also I can step down through the select the folder where you want to find rolling stock (I have forgotten the name) but I select vehicles foldet and get sub folders like "Alco" and etc. but the search button doesn't list any vehicles in thoses folders.

If this is how RW Tools works when run without administrator please tell me how I become one as I though I was the adminstrator.

PS: I have done 2 verify steam cach with no change.

It took a while but this old dog finally figured out what you were saying.

You were right it had to be run as administrator. I just couldn't get that through my head let alone figure out how to do it.

But the light finally came on.

Funny thing is I never had this trouble with my desk top PC which was running windows 7 64 bit before it overheated and died.
