Parked locos' headlights on, after core update

Tom Pallen has reported in another thread about spark light of Class 76, and (head?!)lights of a Woodhead brake car, being now turned on even when vehicle is parked (no AI driver on board). Well, after the core update this is happening in many other routes and engines. I didn't get to define a pattern yet, but sometimes (not always, that's the problem) parked engines have the headlight on, or headlight and rearlight on, mostly in UK vehicles, but as much as I'm testing I'm founding the "issue" (if it was not intentionally changed) with "new" (I mean TS2012 made) US locos as well. And also I noticed that it happens more often when the game is below the 14fps...
May be an intersting effect (every loco with its headlights on) but it will make fps drops a lot, which may be critical in normal specs rigs, at least at night if the area (an yard, for example) is plenty of parked locos. Anyone else noticed this?
Cheers,
Lisboa.

Yes, you're not alone - happens in the 2nd and further scenarios you try? which is even worse than them being on all the time. However are you getting the headlight models lit up, or just the projecting beams?

Just the projecting beam... the headlight models are not lit up which is even more weird. Is happening in many other scenarios in other routes, other locomotives... In freeroam when you click (ride) the loco the headlights/rearlights turn off, but in standart scenario there is no way to turn them off.

Yes, then that's exactly what someone else reported independently. It's probably good practice to turn them all off in the engine script and then work out what ones have to be on, but most engine scripts predate projecting beams by years.

The things are worse then I realised... yesterday I noticed also that the headlights is sometimes on (here is the "sometimes" again!) when the front-end of locomotive is attached to a non-locomotive vehicle. Or, when it is off, it becomes on when you zoom (in external view) closer to the the locomotive... I'm reporting to RSC with all this comments pasted (and a lot of shots), if they don't like to read forums, they will be obliged to read what we are posting on here...

I hope this one wil not join my personal list of "Lost in Support" e-mails.
In single words, they messed exactly one of the (supposedly) greatest new feature of TS2012: the headlights. Looking forward a fast and effective fix.
