PRR K4 WW2 Boxed In CS issues

Anyone else having these issues?

It didn't load at all, even after a cache file verification saying "File failed to load - Scnerio.bin" with an exit button.

After a steam update tonight, it loads, but has the following issues which were also in the non-career scenerio version:

1) At the start, if I get my train together quickly and approach the mainline, there is an oncoming train. I don't have a stop aspect signal (I don't even pass a signal before I get to the mainline), and neither does he. If I proceed to cross the main line he collides with the rear of my train.

No problem.... I just choose to use common sense instead of signals and wait for him to pass. Problem solved. The switch changes at the last second to let him by (it was set for me before that) and then sets itslelf back after he passes. But then...

2) As I near C Wwd Receiving Yard 2, I have a stop aspect signal. The line is clear, but I can't proceed.

Anyone come across this?

I did the standard version of this, and waited quite a while for the stop aspect to change. It never did. I kept requesting permission to pass signal at danger, and it kept being denied. I finally just pulled into the yard and dropped off my cars. The dispatcher was very happy with me anyway.

BUT, I don't remember any AI on that scenario. Maybe I was too slow getting my consist together. :-)

When you come to that stop aspect go into 2d map(9) and set all the switches ahead to allow you to go through even though you do not need to go that far, just get the blue line to go as far as you can get it and then you should be approved to pass

I set the switches to take me to the yard, but I didn't worry about farther than that. Good tip. I'll give it a try when that kind of thing happens.

Yeah, TAB didn't work for that signal in Boxed In.

Thanks all. Indeed, there doesn't appear to be a penalty for proceeding through the stop aspect and all is well now.

It baffles me how these issues get through QA. Either they aren't testing or they don't care.
