Unloading log cars

Last night I tried 3 RWA scenarios before I ran out of time.

The first two wanted me to move three log cars to the log spur (If I remember correctly) and if I understood the scenario correcly I was to unload the log cars and take the empities away.

Well I couldn't get the log cars to unload. I tried the unload/load icon in the HUD and that didn't work. and I also tried the "Shift T" with out any luck.

What am I doing wrong??? I'm fairly new to the sim and haven't read all the documents yet.

The third scenario I tried, had me uncouple a passenger car on the wye and run my loco around the wye and couple up to the passenger car on the other end. well since the passenger car's truck was on the curve in the wye the couplers wouldn't line up so I couldn't couple up to it.

Next time I try this scenario I will try and make sure I uncouple the passenger car closer to the wye's switch so they will line up. My question is this. Is this a problem for real railroads?

Thanks for any information you can give me

Dave

Make sure you log car is centered up on the unloader. If the buttons dont work try clicking on the log car or unloader itself.

Shouldn't need "shift T " Dave, just hold the T down for a few seconds. Like Bob says, you have to make sure the cars are lined up. Also, clear your blueprint cache before you press "START"

If that doesn't work, use the scenario editor like suggested here.

I have finished those RWA scenarios for the MCSA route and had the same problem at first. I edited the scenario and it worked, but maybe I didn't need that.
