Missing tesxtures in NEC

Unread postby TheFlier » Sat Dec 24, 2011 9:07 pm

Hi all :)

I bought the NEC route a few days ago and seem to have big problems. Philladelphia and NY Penn stations don't have any walls or ceilings -the buildings atop and around those two stations are perfectly visible. Also I see banks of signals along the route floating in midair (and a few billboards too).

I've tried varifying the cache (a few files were re-acquired) but I still have the problem.

I can get some pics to demonstrate if required.

ANy help appreciared :)

Thanks

Do you have your secenery detail levels set to 8 or above? This does have effect on object counts. I keep mine set to 10.

Merry Christmas.

ah! No. I normally have it set to 7, but dropped it to 4 (and everything else set to low) cos I was getting such poor FPs (<10), and still was after doing that :( But now getting 30FPs using stock other than the AM7's, or just one AM7.

OK - Thanks :) At least they're not missing or corrupt, just hidden :) I'll create my own scenarios with much lower AI counts and up my detail level :)

Much appreciated - and Happy Xmas to you and all here too :D

I've had missing signal gantries, even a missing water tank, unless the in game settings are on High (detail level at 10) On my PC it's really not a game breaker, the routes that ran with low frames still run the same. But, I don't do any "custom" settings. I just put it on High, that seems to work better than me fiddling around and mucking things up. !**duh*!!
