I just used my Steam 50% off coupon and got the "Amtrak bundle" (NEC, P42DC/Superliners, and Acela). Everything is great, but when I fired up the Acela, I noticed there is no sound at all from the passenger cars, not even track joint sounds. I looked in the Acela folder, and in the Audio section, the bogie folder is completely empty. Has this happened to anyone else?

Verified the game files, cleared the blueprint cache?

Tried that, didn't work. Grrr!

Do you get sound from the engine? I don't have NEC or the Acela so I can't compare my results. Sorry. But to be honest, I really don't use the passenger car views at all. Don't drive in the cab much either. I like the "fly" cam (2 key)

Ok, so I verified my game cache to see if it would fix a sound problem I'm having with the Acela. The problem wasn't solved, and when I went to continue work on the route I'm building, I seem to have lost almost ALL my assets! Most of my scenery objects are gone, even ALL my ground textures are gone. This includes default assets as well as 3rd party. When I loaded up a test scenario on my route, which at this time is nothing but track and catenary supports, I had a train and catenery supports just hovering there. The "ground" is nothing but white, the tracks are gone, the overhead wires are gone, the few buildings I had are gone. I'm so frustrated I could kick something!

Well, I don't know what happened, but I tried loading up my WIP route again, and everything is back to normal. I hope it stays that way.
