Glitch with Player loco in wip scenario

Unread postby Toripony » Tue Oct 11, 2011 1:24 am

I'm writing a scenario over the past few weeks and somewhere along the line my Player train loco (a single ES44ac) acquired doubled numbering on the body and it no longer had notched throttle. I used RWTools to swap in a different loco; same result. Tried an SD40-2; same result. I tried doing a manual edit instead of using RWT; same result. I've checked files and even restored a backup. If I select a new loco to place on the track it works normally; all the AI train locos are fine; it's just this Player loco that has this glitch. This scenario is almost complete w/new rolling stock included and now this has me stumped. Anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this gremlin?

At a glance, it looks like you need to copy Michael Stephan's invisible numbers into your loco's texture file. If the old numbers are invisible, they don't show through. This is what I use with my boxcar reskins.
