Game Startup-Maybe Never

I have had all sorts of problems and have reached the end. Using instructions from Railworks Support, I finally have the initial splash page with "Start Rail Simulator 2012" on bottom right have corner of screen. However, when I click on start, the splash screen stays and startup audio plays, but no game screens. Rebooted, cleared cache, and still same. Any suggestions would be appreciated else I will be removing all related software and find something else to confuse me. Support has no answer at this point.

Thanks much. *!sad!* *!sad!* *!sad!*

Try this, I did this last night. Uninstall your game. Search for all railworks files and delete them. Clean up the disc and defrag.
Then reinstall and add your assets (if you have any) and give it a shot.

Uninstalled TS2012 and all Railworks files and reinstalled TS2012. Same result. I have given up. Nothing seems to work. Too bad.

So, back to Trainz and MSTS. *!twisted!* *!twisted!* *!twisted!*

Do you have any error messages? Several people helped me with TS2012 issues (which we finally solved), but we need more info.

Hobby, did you ever try to uninstall then reinstall the Steam client?

There have been no error messages. I have deleted and reinstalled Steam and Railworks TS2012 at least twice each. When I click Start, the Banner Splash page remains and the system locks up and I have to reboot. Did the cache thing numerous times. Railworks support suggested some fixes, tried all those as well, and I have not heard from them in a week even after they asked some questions and I answered.

Support asked for system info, which I provided, and said all looks like it should work.

Had similar issues with TS2004, but finally worked those out.

I really am at a loss. Ran MSTS for a long time as was looking for a great upgrade with this.

Thanks for any input.
