I'm happy for you folks that own the NEC are getting an upgrade, but shouldn't they have fixed the problems with the base game first?
Every time I try to build on my route, crash!
Try to hook up to loaded coal hoppers, as soon as I hook up, the hoppers pull me in reverse 50 mph, crash!
Consist tilt, crash! Consist tilt , crash!
I'll be running normal , frame rates drop and guess what? crash! **!!bang!!**
Turn it on, crash!
Turn it off, crash!

Do you guy's get what I'm getting at?
I have to restart atleast 20-25 times a day in the course of a 12 hour span. I am trying so hard to be patient, so hard to be possitive.
I just don't understand the logic in this. Every day I fire up the pc, I'm hoping today is the day, today is the day I will see this game working right.
Only to be utterly dissapointed to find out that they skipped all these problems to work on an addon.

I think part of the problem is that the program's stability changes drastically from person to person.

I am not working on my own route, but I have been using the world editor a lot lately, and believe it or not, since RW3 has been released, I only had one crash (SBHH). And it was my fault...I tried to load an asset with errors. One day last week, I worked in the world editor for about 7 hours, no crash.

So, it sounds like theres something wrong with your install, or something conflicting in your system. I wish I could help more, but I haven't had any issues...so I dont know what could be wrong.

Importz2k1 », have you fired up Logmate to see if it has any complaints? There is an option to start Logmate on the launch screen, Settings tab. This will open a new window when the game starts. I have used it with success to remove ghosts of payware and error-ridden track. A certain fearlessness is required to face copying individual files in and out of your route and asset folders, followed by endless restarts of your route to check the results. It has the value of teaching you in gross detail how the game's underlying structure is organized.

At the very least, a Logmate process that ends with no errors will tell you that you have some major issue with your install.

This is of deep concern because track permeates the route. It looks like the track rules file for your route may be a bit dodgy. Do you have a backup reference copy? Have you ever been able to load this route under TS2012?

Paragon, I make a backup every day after I add more content to my route but I don't know if this is damaged aswell since I use the package manager to back up.

Have you ever been able to load this route under TS2012?

I started this route in TS2012, I'm using the HSC route with HSC track.

Should I delete my route from the game and reinstall it from my backup? Or will it have the same problems?

I get this one in Log Mate all of the time and I don't even have this file on my system. It must be referenced in another file somewhere but I haven't been able to track it down.

Oops. Spoke too soon. That pontrack.bin file you can find in Kuju\RailSimulator\RailNetwork\trackrules\. You should delete it because it's corrupt.

pontrack.bin is from the Port Ogden route. I just checked the install files and it is in assets/portogden/railsimulator/railnetwork/trackrules. Dont know if this helps or not.

I suggest Uninstall, sweep out the regestry and fresh download and install.

You could use something like "Glary Utilities"
http://www.glaryutilities.com/

or
"CCleaner":
http://www.piriform.com/

Both are good free utilities for helping to clean-up the registry and getting rid of junk files from your computer.

I would read all of the install screens carefully as GlaryUtilities is installing. Allegedly it tries to install the Ask Toolbar, according to this link (scroll down the page a bit): http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-fr ... tility.htm
