Ever since I upgraded to TS 20012, I always get the Steam message about updating for first time run or somethin like that, then it went to the "File Security Verification" and ".NET Framework 4 Client Profile Extended" box that shows the installation progress bar that takes nearly 10 minutes to complete EVERY time I start the game, even though it is NOT the first time I have played. Why is this happeneing?
FYI, it says the NET deal is repairing. I just tried to start the game after posting this, now the NET Framework installation took only about 1 minute, now it says it cant find a bunch of files referring to the Railworks 2 .exe file, and the "game cannot be played". Ooohh, Im diein here!!

There is an announcement about this at the top of the page. A workaround by Hawk, and RSC is working on a fix.

Oh, thats nice...I done uninstalled RW3 to try a reinstall...and Ill have to DL the Horseshoe Curve Route again...
Well, I didnt have much if anything else to loose...thanks for pointing out that announcement though...guess I should check that thread each time I log in here from now on huh?!!
