Very nice pack, well designed interior cab with some news controls and a wonderful engine sound! Currently am playing a nice pack for Class 67 from Roussillon Aero Simulation, is worth a look:
http://www.roussillonaerosimulation.com/ But, in the Manual there is no explanation about how "Locomotive Mode Selector (#20, page 6)" works. Is it functional? I notice to the left of cabin a "Speed Control up/down key" that does not work yet, and may be related to speedometer limit settings (another type of cruise control?).
Thanks.

The mode switch controls the brake timings and the ETH on the real one; on the model as supplied it's just cosmetic. I've managed to make it affect the brakes in mine but there's too many bugs to release that ( sometimes the brake lever gets stuck full on, not great :P ).

Hi Kali,
And what about red digital speedometer showing speed in Km/h, instead of Mph, when running in a German route (all in Km), for instance. Could this be changed easier?
Thanks.

If there's a MPH/KMH switch in the cab you could do it ( and I can't imagine why a UK engine would have one ), otherwise there's no way of the engine knowing where it is. I guess you could make a version just for German routes.

No switch in cab.

I'm playing a scenario pack with a DB Schenker Class 67 (red livery)
* in Seebergbahn and Hagen-Siegen routes. They run in Germany, supposedly in KMH. Would be better with cab speedometer showing KMH, as it happens in F4 Console or F5 HUD, matching the routes' pattern.

Well, thing is, the scenario might be in Germany but the engines aren't actually operated there - there's a vaguely similar Alsthom type iirc but I'm not interested enough to remember what it is (it's ugly, whatever it is ). UK rail other than the high speed line to the tunnel - which is part of the TGV network - still uses MPH, so I'm afraid it will have to be cloning and surgery to make it use kmH. I will see if there's a quick solution when I can.

No, they don't at the moment and haven't done so up until now. DBS wouldn't appear to have any plans to use them in Germany either, though never say never.
The DB Schenker livery is now in use in Britain as well.
Hope this helps

It helped,

and it explains why in the shot I posted before the DBS is running in a tipical UK signaled track...

I suspect you can probably clone one of the defaults and change every reference to SpeedometerMPH in the blueprint and the engine script to SpeedometerKPH.
They're kinda useless in the UK really; they never really use the 125mph capability and the traffic they were built for isn't there anymore. Thing is I don't know anywhere else they'd be any more use, I doubt Germany has a need for them either.
DB run services all over Europe. Even Freightliner operate multinationally, and they're pretty tiny.
