Seebergbahn Chartered Freight

Unread postby HbgRdgLine » Sun Sep 04, 2011 10:45 pm

I got an AI train derailment on this route. Is it something I did or is it a bug? All my signals were green, don't know what I did wrong.

You did nothing wrong I was having the same issue.
I fixed it by going into the scenario editor and deleting the 1 AI train that was not moving and the other was crashing in to.

When you first start the scenario you build the consist them take it to Seebergbahn. Just before you get to the tunnel there is Passenger train sitting on the other track like it came out of the tunnel but is not moving. Delete that consist and everything works out fine

I've been doing this act. Get to the end of the run and it then tells me that I've done something wrong and fails me. Any ideas on a fix?

Not familiar with that scenario, but I found that some of the "Go via" instructions have a speed limit assigned to them and if you're not doing at least that limit you fail the instruction. Found this out on another sceanrio when it kept failing and I finally checked the instructions in the editor, I had to pass the "Go via" marker doing at least 30MPH to get a "passed".

I really have absolutely no idea why I keep failing.

I've followed the instructions to the letter - the guy says to couple the wagons as Seeberg to the front of the loco (so no switching cab). Still get a fail.

I found the problem, the pick-up wagons instruction is correct but the drop off wagons instruction is not correct. The pick up instruction lists a wagon number 33403961, but the drop off instruction lists wagon 33403971. You need to change the 3rd wagon number in the drop off instruction to be 33203961.

Apologies for being a bit thick but how do I make that change?

Are you familiar with the scenario editor?

If you want to be safe, back up the scenario first (Route = 5, scenario = cee86f0d-897e-4137-a19f-f736087685e7)

Open the scenario in the scenario editor.

In the Tool Box (upper left corner), Open the timetable tab (Looks like a clock).

Find the player train from the drop down menu in the upper left, the Player train ends in (P).

Look towards the bottom of the table that opens, find "ALMSFELD YARD 1" 16:17:22.

Click on the "Drop off" symbol on that line.

Change the 3rd number (33403971) to (33403961)

Close the table.

Click " OK"

Exit and click "yes" to save or Save (F2) and then exit.
