RW_Tools to clone route

Hi! I'm trying to clone a route with RW_Tools, and after following the instructions I get a new route with a revised name with a .xml file, no other files being transferred or created. Is this normal? What more has to be done to have a workable route?

PS. I'm using V2.2.30

Hi! Mike doesn't seem to be around, so could someone please do a test and post the results? Thanks in advance. Cheers; Chuck F.

RW has a feature to copy a route that's easy to use.

I use this all the time to clone routes that I want to add on to all the time. Works great.

I find that it's especially useful as a route backup tool. :D

Hi! So I take it that all the routes files and scenarios are copied to the newly named route? If so then my version is corrupt, and a complete reinstall does not solve the problem. I then suspect that there is some sort of incompatibility between RW_Tools and my version of RW2. Thanks for the info. Cheers; Chuck F.

I believe, and please correct me if I am wrong, but cloning via RWTools only makes a copy of the route content in the Content folder. It does not make a clone or copy of the related routes Assets folder. So you clone still points back to the same Assets folder of the original.

Correct? !*don-know!*
