I am wondering is there is something wrong with this file....... The installer won't open anywhere within the Railworks folder. If I am reading correctly, copy the installer to the assets folder and run the batch file. I get the following message. (Pic enclosed) I get this message no matter where the batch file is copied to. If the operation is done manually, the engines don't show up in the sim when trying to make a consist. All required boxes to use the units have been checked. Correct shape files used.

So here's what I've discovered. E unites repainted by Buzz work. Units repainted by Touzzz (jtousign) work. E units by this guy Jason don't even show up and units repainted by Francisco Nunez (fnunezf) only show the horns. The default Amtrak units all work.

Oh dear, I will take a look at this to see why these might not be working. There are a fair number of cross referenced files, but I haven’t had an issue or heard of such.

Hello,
I have had no issue despite going back through the files, when I copy the .bat file into "Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets" and run it; the correct .GeoPcDx files copy without an error message, the error message you are getting is the one called if the Railworks Kuju directory cannot be found.
The only possible deviation I could see is that for some reason I typed two of the lines using capital or "upper-case" letters and two of them using "lower-case" letters.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/16_13xz ... sp=sharingThis is the .bat file I have used, which runs without fail on my end, providing the AmtrakE8Pack .ap files have been unpacked.
I hope this will work.

Still no dice. Get the same error as before. Railworks Kuju directory cannot be found. Again, no matter where I put the .bat, this error occurs. EXACTLY what assets folder does it go in????? The main Railworks assets folder? The DTG folder? The Amtrak E 8 folder ? The Kalamazoo folder ? My sim is on my E drive. In the folder for the E drive??? Is this a .bat that only works if Steam is in the Programs Files (x86) folder?????.
A manual install produces the same results as before. Amtrak E8, Kalamazoo, and MartinAshwill folder all checked in the route editor. The engines will not show up in game.

I don't want to sound sarcastic but can you read his post? He tells you exactly the path to where the bat file goes. And it makes no difference about which drive your Steam folder is in.

Sounds simple right? I DID put in the location he mentions and just about everywhere else. The .bat just won't run on my system. Perhaps a permissions issue? Personally, I hate .bat files.

Are you an admin on the computer? Also, it could be security software that might be blocking the .bat file from running. Maybe try disabling and running the .bat file again.
