The photo doesn't show much but here's the deal. The switch will not stay lined for the main and I can't get it to unless I take control over one of my AI trains and manually click on it. Then and only then will it line up for the main. I didn't notice it the first time and my AI 15 car passenger train slammed into the freight cars parked in the second siding away from the main. Made a melluva hess at 65 m.p.h.! The second time is when I noticed the switch would not line for the main. Even clicking on it wouldn't work. The handle will fly up and around and then return to the original position. I have replaced all associated track in both directions and get the same outcome.
Now about the signal. It is a CSX Short 2 head five track. #1 lead is placed in the middle of the main straight ahead. #2,3,4,5 leads are placed on the four converging lines about halfway down each of the sidings. All four tracks are occupied with cars but no engines. These sidings are not part of any of my train destinations at this time. The AI trains should pass right by the siding on the main on their way to their destinations beyond.
Also notice that the signal shows red over green. As I understand it that would mean the siding is clear to enter and the main is occupied. So I'm getting a green light on my occupied tracks and a red signal on my clear track.
Any ideas y'all?
Thanks!
