Open Auto Racks Feather River Canyon Enhanced Route

Unread postby TheKman » Sat Feb 17, 2024 12:27 pm

Bought the route last night, didn't mess with it till this morning.

The open auto racks. The loaded version is empty when it's placed on the tracks in the editor. And there are no cars or pickups when the scenario is saved and your ready to drive the train. Is there something I'm missing here like checking off a box in the object set filter? Or do I have files missing?

Thanks

In Career Mode, the Ford Fast train, the auto racks have the cars and trucks on them. Try to make your own scenario the cars and trucks don't show up. The auto rack is empty.

Just tried making my own train on the Academy route. Same thing. Placed a rack with cars and a rack with pickups. started the scenario and the racks are empty..... Works with enclosed scenarios that came with the route but not if one makes up their own train...... What gives !*don-know!*

I'm not quite sure I understand. Did you click on the cars and load them using the right fly out? They seem to be working here but they don't automatically load.

Works here as well. Is your scenery density in settings turned up?

If that right flyout is the object set filter I didn't see anything like boxes for the cars and trucks. In the HIS folder the route is checked. I don't see anything else I need to tick......

This what you should see in the upper right after you fast click the autorack twice. Then check the load box.

Got it. I go and try that. Had no idea the sim had this feature.... Probably explains why I have "loaded" stack cars and TOFC cars that are always empty.

In business again. Many thanks to AmericanSteam. Started with this sim in 2012 and had no idea that's how you load the cars.....
