TS-Tools help.

Unread postby biddydog9000 » Sat Jan 13, 2024 5:01 pm

I recently got TS-Tools (RW-Tools). I am trying to make a QD consist. However, when I make my QD consists, it asks for the route, which is blank.

How do I get the routes in TS-Tools. I am very new and unfamiliar with TS-Tools. !!**sorry**!!

Under options it asks for TS2020 path. If I remember correctly as soon as you set that it will find your routes. I think you need to restart as administrator that one time after you do this.

That is correct. Run as administrator and set the path to your Railworks folder. Also set your PDF reader path example, Adobereader.exe, Don't forget to run Scenarios/Extract Scenario Properties and Route Building Tools/Extract Route Properties. There is a manual hidden in the program files for TS_Tools. If you installed it as directed it should be in C:/ Rail Utilities TS-Tools-Help. Suggestion, create a shortcut on your desktop for easy reference.

Question when I extract the scenario properties, and route building tools will this affect any mods installed?

Only if you modified scenarios or a route without renaming them.
