VNHRR Crash.

Hello . When attempting to run the Virtual New Haven route the sim crashes to desk top and I get the following prompt : Fatal error in mode LOADING . This happens with all activities and when trying to open the route in scenario editor. Is sent a ticket to DTG . All other routes run fine I have 32gbs ram 8gb gpu . Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank You.

DTG said to uninstall then reinstall TSC. I did that Now the game will start then freeze and crash with this prompt :"Fatal error during update within windows manager" Contacted DTG waiting for a reply.

I'm sorry. Let me rephrase myself. The situation has gotten worse. The sim will now only go as far as the opening credits of "DTG Train Simulator Classic before it crashes to desktop. With the prompt :"Fatal error during update within windows manager"

Have you tried rebooting your computer? Are you running TSC as administrator? Do you have enough disk space on the drive that you are installing TSC on? Have you recently installed any workshop routes/scenarios?

I have never seen these two error messages before. Are these new in the game since the core update?

So far, the only time I've had the game crash reliably during startup was when I had one of those dreaded corrupted Workshop scenarios in my game folders. As far as I know, these can also happen when doing a full re-installation of the game while being subscribed to anything in the Workshop.

The Springfield Line has been crashing since the one of the updates to the game's core in June or July. For the time being, the unofficial patch Buzz linked above, or running it in a pre-core-update version of the game if you happen to have one installed, are the only ways I know of how to play on it while my own patch is being investigated by DTG.

Success !!! I deleted the route and restarted the sim it ran properly. Installed pre core update copy of the route As Michael suggested no problems. Thank You Michael , Buzz and everyone else for your help.
