Clear Creek Railway, Log and Lumber Expansion Pack Add-On Issue

Unread postby trev123 » Wed Feb 01, 2023 3:06 pm

This Add-On is done by Romantic Railroads. The issue I'm having is the Porter Loco is running out of water at 95% full this is on the scenario Last Lumber Trian In The Evening. Here is a video of it happening a couple of minutes in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V77B02vFle8

Here is a reply from DTG support.

It seems that this particular locomotive does simulate several failure states that are not properly maintained. In the video, it seems that you have overfilled the water tank. You can learn more about this loco, and its operational needs in the manual: https://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/stea ... 1646145880

There are also two introductory scenarios included with the add-on you may find useful. Could you try refilling the water on a more infrequent basis and keep the fill level a margin below 100, please?

In the video he says I overfilled it but by only 2% as you can see and then I closed the valve and the water level dropped to about 85% I filled it again and when it got to 95% it got ran out of water error. There is really nothing about this in the manual. Has anyone else tried this scenario and had issues with it?

The boiler was 95% full but you ran the storage tanks dry. The amount of gallons at the top.

Thanks for that. I never take notice of the amount in the tank. Usually when you have scenarios and the tender is low on water you are instructed to fill it up.
