Grand Trunk GP-9 Number Boards

I just noticed this while running my GTW GP-9's at night. These are the ones that Buzz has done, along with the weathered ones. Does anyone known how to get rid of the white around the numbers, and just have a black background with the white numbers? During the day they are all black. Screen shots are included.
