I recently downloaded this (https://utscreations.weebly.com/store/p40/Amtrak_Retro_Genesis_Pack.html) pack of Phase III and IV reskins for TruRail's P42 Enhancement Pack. However, right off the bat, I noticed a pretty big problem. The .BAT file that is required to copy over all the stuff the pack needs to work, doesn't appear to have been included with the download. Nevertheless, I copied over all the (I assume) required .GEOs, but the locomotives don't show up in the world.

Did you do the cabview Geos as well?

Yes. Cabview is there (but can only be viewed when attached to another engine), but the controls don't function, and the MFDs aren't there.

You will need to contact the developer and advise about the missing .bat file. I sent a message on FB advising them of the issue. Check back with them in a few days.

Yes, I already have the TruRail base enhancement. I'll see about contacting them.

(BTW, anyone here who downloaded the reskins when they were still available on Train Sim Community, was it missing the .BAT file there too?)

They are a bit confused over there. They just said that There is no bat file needed. They will get back to me, but you should inform them of your issues directly.


You need to enable LP, RSC, and TruRailSimulations in the editor for these to work. Other issues noted no .geo files in engine or cabview after installation for the PHIII, PHIII_2, PHIV, PHIV_NEC, or PHV. No instructions on what/how to copy. I copied the .geo files as I would nornally to the cab and engine for each and placed them in the editor. All was fine until I saved and the scenario started and the locos disappeared.

Yeah, I'll have to see about getting a FB acount set up, but that's pretty much what I've been experiencing, except that the PhV version works exactly as it should.
