I used the same RW_AssetSetup found with the regular 40ft and 50ft PS-1 Boxcars from Harry and so far they work great. The 10-6 boxcars that I downloaded (CNW, FEC, SOO, etc) appear on the left side of my scenario editor under Rolling Stock per usual. But that's as far as it goes. No boxcar and no sound.
I know that these repaints require a base model, the AAR40ft10-6Box-EL from MainLines and I've downloaded it. As you can see from my screenshot below, that's not appearing either. What am I missing?
I've gone through all these files trying to compare what's missing but this could easily be above my skill level as I don't fully understand the function of everything inside them. Is it possible that the way downloaded files are organized within "Assets" can cause these errors? Here's how the base E-L 10-6 boxcar from MainLines looks inside "Assets." The window on the right is simply what's inside the grayed line on the left.
I'm more than happy to provide more screenshots of my files to help solve these issues. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Side note, just to stress how important this is to me, for a number of years I've been building a very large and highly-detailed 1950's switching terminal set in the fictional city of Doncaster, Connecticut. Given the emphasis on switching, a healthy variety of rolling stock is imperative. Getting these 10-6 boxcars to work would be the final push to a satisfactory inventory that's actually realistic. Below is a small taste...

Place your individual folders in the Boxcars folder. Make sure your MainLines asset folder is checked.

buzz456 wrote:You manually installed the RWP into the folder. Try running the RWP in the editor so it installs the contents.

Chacal wrote:- Open the zip or 7z file from Harry with 7zip, find and open the railworks folder inside the zip. You should see an "assets" folder.
- Copy this assets folder to your Railworks folder (the one in your Steam games). What I do is open the railworks folder in Windows explorer and drag the Assets folder from the 7zip window to the explorer window. Just take care not to drop the folder in a wrong place.
- Answer "yes" when explorer asks you about merging the folders or overwriting files.
