Is there any fix for having to log into Steam as a prerequisite to executing TS? I have searched the TS forum at Steam and found suggestions but nothing that works. Do you get this command when you try and run TS?

I get this error when:
- I use a direct shortcut to railworks.exe or railworks64.exe
- AND Steam isn't loaded.

I don't get this error when:
- I start TS from the Steam client
- OR I use the standard shortcut: file:///I:/Steam/Steam.exe%20-applaunch%2024010%20-fastload


All of this makes sense, as Steam is needed unless you have TS configured as off-line.

I believe that you must log into Steam to play. You need to open steam to enable play offline mode. If you play often you may want Steam to open through your start menu that way you can start with a shortcut quickly from your desktop.

I have other games on Steam including TSW2 and whenever I play them they automatically start up Steam but with TS2022 and previous versions you have to start up steam first or you get the You Need To Logon To Steam first.
