Alaska RR SD70M headlights.. and ES44 headlights too! SOLVED!!

Whilst the headlights, number lights and ditch lights can be turned on (F4 HUD or "H" - the rotary switch in the cab doesn't work), there is no beam casting. I do have the appropriate prime mover enhancement from Searchlight Simulations which does mention lighting enhancements, but to no avail. Please note that I'm in the UK, so I'm not sure if any patches for branded SD70Ms (BNSF etc.) would be available or would work. Any suggestions please? Apart from just drive in the daytime LOL! !*roll-laugh*!

Same issue with the ES44 I just discovered tonight.

Headlight flares box needs to be checked in the settings.

Additionally as I recall the SS headlights don't cast during daylight hours.

Thank you for the input, gents. I do have H'light flares ticked. I've even selected the Alaska SD70M in Quick Drive and set the time to 01:30 in winter on a cloudy night, but no beam casting in what should be night time. Strange.. !*hp*!

See whether you've got "Headlight Flares" checked in the main game settings tab.

Hi Kevin. I do have headlight flares checked in the settings tab (button at top right of main screen, then navigate to the appropriate advanced graphics "page") !*cheers*!
EDIT - repeated myself!

Other thing to ensure is at the route editor level, enable the MLWAudio 710G3B and GEVO12 products and save the route.

Ah.. so I load up the scenario, then go into the editor, then save the route correct? Or do I access it via main menu - build - scenario - edit ?? *!!thnx!!*

Route editor not scenario editor. Use the Route editor to do the above tasks then save.
