Loco making image go crazy

Unread postby buzz456 » Sun Oct 24, 2021 8:33 am

One of my beta testers is having a issue with the image in the game goes all wonky and flipping around with nothing identifiable after loading a loco. Neither of the other folks have this issue. Anyone have any idea what causes this?
I have had this once in a while when I have had a texture in the wrong place but since it is only with one person this doesn't seem likely here.

I have only ever had this when there is a texture conflict. Has he "manually" dropped the file into one with similar names? or the wrong "provider"?

Buzz... haven't experienced this myself. I would start by removing the repaint first. If the image flopping continues, then remove / reinstall the base content piece from Steam, and confirm the base content works. Then reinstall the repaint and test again. If the flopping starts again, then there is something with the repaint and the tester's Train Simulator configuration that is conflicting. Perhaps it is another repaint or customization? The fact that the repaint works for you and the other testers would indicate the issue is isolated to just that tester.

FYI this is the F7 that you apparently had no problem with.
