Not being an aficionado of the Cab Forward, even though I do like the prototype, what is wrong with the light? Number board not illuminated? !*don-know!*

I think he means the light not being round but I think it would be like that on any train in close up view. Sometimes the pixels cannot make it look round closeup.

I just fired this up to see what happens. On headlight position 2 The all number lights are on, the headlight is on, and the marker lights are on. I have added a few modifications on this through the years so I don't know if this is why mine operates correctly. You may uninstall and reinstall or simply do a file verify to correct this or search for and install modifications.
From the manual: "Headlights <H> key – The headlight switch has three positions. The first
position is off. The second position (press the <H> key once) turns on the
forward headlight, the marker lights and the illuminated number boards. The
third position (press the <H> key a second time) turns off the headlight but
leaves the marker lights and number boards on and illuminates any lights on
the rear of the train, including the tender’s rear-facing headlight when running
light. Press <Shift+H> to turn off all the lights. You can also operate these
lights using the in-cab headlight switch which is located above the window on
the fireman’s side."
I set up a night view and I got the same blank white right hand side number board. Why not during the day I can't explain. Just have to bad order it when it gets to Roseville.

Can you give me your cab forward modifications to see if its true?

It has been so long ago, I can't find the patch files that I installed. I know that there is a physics fix in the file library but I don't think it corrects this. Have you checked it with the number board lights on and off?

I did notice that the problem only exists when the road numbers are on. FYI Fanrailer has some physics mods for this. Link: https://www.facebook.com/FanRailerMODS

It should be an easy fix. Loco 4274 is ok as shown above but loco 4243 and another one which I didn't take note of the number of have the white number light. There are 4 scenarios two using 4274 and another using 4243 and one I didn't take note of. It should be just a matter I think of copying the appropriate files/file from 4274 and putting them into the other locos files.

Can you show an image of the files?

Since I have typed that the issue may be in a bin file with incorrect scripting. Maybe you could take a couple of screenshots one of loco 4274 and another of 4243 showing the fault and opening a ticket with DTG showing them the issue and hope that they may fix it.

I installed 3 cab forward in a Test Track scenario and changed the numbers to match the ones with the number board issue in the screenshots. The number boards light in all three. No white rectangle Maybe this issue is peculiar to the scenario? Open the scenario with the issue and change road numbers and see what happens. I don't understand why numbers could be the issue. Retook screenshots at night same results.

I have opened a ticket with DTG with screenshots. Only 4243 has the problem. 4205 and 4274 are alright. Probably because it is an old DLC they won't do anything about it as usual.
