ICG F3 repaints

Question for Buzz, I downloaded your last repaint last night and I encounter a problem: the levers Horn and Lights are not working into the cab so I can't hear the horn sounding and see the lights on outside the cab. Any idea what happened? Thank!

I betcha you didn't copy the Cabview folder from the Default F7 and paste it into the ICG folder. Check that.

Well, I get the same problem, everything is working fine but the Horn and Lights. I copy and paste the cab from the default loco which is the Western Pacific F7 from DTG Feather River??

Just to confirm, you copied over both the DTG and the Searchlight assets folder from Buzz's install? And in the scenario editor, under assests / SearchlightSimulation, you have Feather River checked.

And by the way all my fleet of F7 locomotives (32) from DTG Feather River including the default one of course are all working fine but the ICG

Do you get the same results when running the scenario in 32 bit or 64 bit?

Yes same result. Both the animated horn and lights levers into the cab are not moving at all and as a result there are no horn sounding and headlights don't light up. All other levers are working fine

It sounds like something didn't copy over from the install. You could try reinstalling again. I won't be back to my home computer for another couple of days. When I get back, I'll delete the testing repaints, and install from the download file.

Let's assume for the moment that the problem is on your end since there have been just over thirty downloads and no one else has said anything. Let's start by structure. Check out the path and see if your file looks like this. Are all the elements there?

Hi Cnwfan and Buzz, thanks for helping. Yes all the elements are there. I installed via the installer the first time, uninstalled and reinstalled manually the second time with same result. I'll try to reinstall for the third time later today and let you know.

One quick question while I investigate further. Did you try all three locomotives as the primary one and did they all misbehave? This might help me in trying to find a solution.

Yes Buzz, I even tried the no driver engines, all have the same strange problem

Hey Buzz: I can't get it to work either. IT must be a Canadian thing LOL. I can't get the lights or horn to work and the controls only work with the big HUD not the mapping to the controller or keypad functions I tried reinstalling the NSF7 A-B version because I have had problems with it in the past when trying to use Feather River F7's but that did not help. I installed it to see if I got the same results as jtousign.
