The game says it's starting but then closes

When I press on train simulator to play, the little title card opens up for a few seconds before the actual game should and as soon as the other tab comes up in the taskbar the game closes out both tabs. This happens every single time I load up the game. I hadn't downloaded anything recently so I doubt it could be because of the content in the game and I just updated windows 10 this morning to see if it helped at all. (obviously it didn't) Cpu specs, Asus fx504g with an Intel® Core™ i5 8300H Processor, NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050, with 2GB/4GB GDDR5 VRAM, Intel® HM370 Express Chipset, running Windows 10 Home, and the CPU has a DDR4 2666MHz SDRAM, 2 x SO-DIMM socket, up to 32 GB SDRAM.

Run the game with Logmate.
A search for "Logmate" in the forums should tell you haw to do it.
Hopefully the log will help find the cause for this.
