.Bin Files Not Saving After Edit

I was working on a repaint today for the G-TraX GP40. After editing the GX_GP40_01.bin, I saved the file and ran it through .Serz. Come to find out, the .bin file got completely wiped out and had nothing inside it. So, I tried using RWTools this time. After editing, I saved the file. I went back to reload the .bin and all it had inside was this line of code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>.

So it seems like every time I try to save a .bin file, it gets wiped out. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix for this? !*don-know!*

Are you sure you don't have any syntax errors in the xml code like a missing > or " ?
That's the only way i know serz gives you back an empty bin file.

DanSSG, thank you for the reply. I just realized that the error was because I was using the "&" symbol in the .bin. Looks like everything is saving now. Thanks for the help! !*cheers*!

It's not a read only is it? I had this issue once a long time ago and so far I can't remember its cause.

No, it's not set to read only. I've had the issue with .Serz before, but this was a little different (I think !*don-know!* ). At least I was able to figure it out with DanSSG's help.
