Miami Quick Drive issue

Unread postby biddydog9000 » Sun Mar 17, 2019 9:38 am

The issue is when I do a quick drive on the Miami & West Palm beach the trains are facing the wrong way. I had tried going into the editor of the quick drive but when I click on the engine the game crashes. How do I fix this issue?

Without any information such as motive power or scenario name I can't be more specific. I will make the assumption you are talking about passenger service. In this case change ends, move from the locomotive (F40PHL) to the cabcar at the rear of the train or visa versa. This can be done through the HUD (left or right arrows in the HUD) or keyboard (Crtl+-, Ctrl+=). Link to keyboard controls here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... =243521602 Also the manual has specific information to the route and locomotive operation.
To change cabs the train must not be moving, reverser to center, throttle to idle, brakes applied. Career scenarios usually can not be edited neither can most standard scenarios.
As to the issue of the game crashing there could be several issues. Has the game worked without issues before? Have you recently added any workshop? Does your computer meet the minimum specifications? Are you playing in 32 bit or 64 bit version? The 64 bit editor has issues and is not recommended for editing at this time. More information is needed to help with this issue.

I think he means that the quickdrive is spawning the trains in the wrong direction. I had the same issue until I went into the scenario editor and changed the direction of the spawn point so that it points the train south.
