So I booted up the game and steam gave me and error. the error is content file locked. so I looked at the files and didn't see the 64bit.exe but I did see the 32bit.exe however the game doesn't boot up. Instead the game updated and took a while and gave me the same error. Eventally I uninstalled and reinstalled ( i removed the railworks folder) and the game didn't boot up how do i fix this issue

Is there a question in there somewhere? In the first place a uninstall is almost never the answer. Did you try a verify before all this spasm?

Go to your Steam library right click on Train Simulator and click on uninstall. After you do that search whatever drive it was on and make sure there is no sign of it. Reboot your computer. Let Steam install the game again. See if that works.
