Hello, I am struggling to install the LukRail America ET44AC from their website. When I click to download it, it leads me to a different website, showing me the download, but it is an .rar file, which I do not know how to install. Anyone know how to install this?

Rar files are just a kind of archive, like zip files.
I usually extract them using 7zip, a free and popular archiving app.
Or you can use Winrar, also free.

If it's not too much trouble, would you mind leaving me a link to either extractor so I can try them both? And if it works, could I also get a link to a tutorial on how to install the Lukrail ET44AC?

Also, I'm having issues with my CSX ES44AC and BNSF ES44DC, P42Pack01, and Sherman Hill route files. All the GeoPcDx files are missing, and I can't use any repaints on these until I get this problem solved, any links to a google drive download for these missing files?

The Geos are in the original model. All you have to do is copy and paste them from the original into your repaint.

Well yeah, I mean, that's the issue. I don't have any other files besides a BIN and an Internet Explorer link for all of the listed above. I've tried verifying the files already 3 times, and nothing's changed.

Do you not have these in the .ap format? For instance if you go into the ES44BNSFPack01 folder you should see a ES44BNSFAssets.ap. That is just a compressed file like a zip file. If you extract it (I use 7zip) then all of the folders for this should be available.

.ap! That's what it was! How would I extract this? And what version of 7zip would I use?

Come on don't be so helpless. Do you know what your operating system is? Pick the one that matches it.

Windows 10. I tried an exe, but I didn't try the 7z file.

So, I was able to unpack the ET44AC. Now, I just need to unpack the .AP file included in the Coal District Route. Anyone know how to do that with WinRAR?

Just drag it and drop it on the winrar icon. It will open and then click on extract (it will want a file to extract to - easiest is to just click on the suggestion and it will open the file as a folder in the coal district). This applies to all .ap files. It's easy once you try, but we all have to learn.

I just tried it. Nothing changed except for a PennCoalAssets.rar file appearing and nothing changes with that either. I'm so stuck.

What happens when you right click on the PennCoal RAR?

Just a suggestion if GEadict know how to use RWtools the you can easily unpack the ap files. I use it all the time.
