Major FPS hit.

Unread postby 5292nate » Thu Jan 24, 2019 7:49 pm

Hello all.

I recently underwent an NVIDIA driver update that completely and totally ruined my trainsim experience. Even on DTG routes, I can no longer get any kind of frame rate higher than 15 fps. If anything it will momentarily jump to 17 or 18, but will quickly revert back to about 14-15. I don't understand what happened and nothing I have tried will work. Anyone have any suggestions? Previously my performance was never good as I would max out at about 30-35 fps but I'd do anything to get that back at this point. Any help whatsoever would be hugely appreciated as this is extremely infuriating.

Thanks!

Nate.

I tried that. Downloaded and installed the version prior to that and no change.

When I had to roll back my driver I had to:

1) uninstall the driver

2) reboot the system

3) install the driver I wanted to use.

Make sure that it is not using your OBG.Go to NVIDIA control panel/program settings and add TS to the program list. This has been an issue with NVIDIA updates recently.
