Help with a repaint

Unread postby USARailfan » Fri Jan 04, 2019 12:23 am

So I wanted a little more variety to the already vast amount of locomotives in my collection and ran into a tiny problem. Numbers. I've never been really good at repainting numbers. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Note: This is a CN repaint of the default UP ACe

There is already a CN 70ace in one of the other sd70 packs.

If you want to keep running with this, to change numbers, you have to edit each number individually in the number files and repaint them all to the same size, font, and color you want (if you're looking to do auto-numbering).

Just a rule of thumb on numbers. Alpha needs to be black with the number in white and the main layer the color of the cab. I am assuming that the numberboards are OK but if not the same rules apply. One little sneaky thing to know when repainting numbers is if you change the number of the loco you need to delete the loco and restart RW to get it to change. The numbers are saved in the scenario so it won't change on one already the there. If all you are doing is changing the colors in the texture it will do that fine. You just need a restart to check your work.
