So Dxtbmp is not exporting my edited DDS file. It shows my edits when I reload after editing, but when I export it, it does not export the new texture. It instead exports the texture that it originally was.

Are you saving after importing? Are to working with a paint that has a nm and a nmc file?

Yes, I am saving, and no, I am not working with NM/NMC files.

I prefer converting DDS to TGA and then after editing I export TGA to DDS.
I think direct manipulation of DDS may be a issue with dxtbmp.

OK so let's walk through the steps. What I think you are saying is you are saving the file as a dds from DXTBmp, then importing it using RSBinTool back into the game. You look at it in the game and it's changed. Then if you later try to export it from the game it is showing up as the original after you open it in DXTBmp? Is that what you are saying?

Hmm, not quite my issue. Step 1: Ok, I export what I want to edit from RSBinTool. Step 2: Then I upload to DXTBmp.
Step 1-2.jpg
Step 3: Then I edit to what I want. Step 4: I reload after edit, it looks like the new edit.
Step 3-4.jpg
Step 5: I export it.
Step 5.jpg
Step 6: I reopen in DXTbmp and it is the same picture as steps 1-2 despite being the new edited version

Does it not ask you where you are importing it from? You need to click file and then import in your step 6.

Yeah it asks which files I want to import. What I'm getting at, it's exporting the unedited version instead of the edited version

Step 5 should be 'save as' not export.

OK I was at work when I said that. I see what you did now. If you are sending it to the desktop I'm guessing that's where it was before you opened it originally. When you save it back again I'm assuming with the same name it should tell you it already exists do you want to replace it. The old one should be gone now. You can check that by going to the file click on properties and see if it was just changed. Open it by importing it from the desktop with the DXTBmp.

I've done all those things, but they just don't work for some reason. And when I make a whole new file, that doesn't work either.

When you saved it to the desktop did the time in the properties change so you know that the change did get saved?

It appears to have changed. It's weird because I have never had this issue before this.

I have.
It's annoying that it comes up every now and then, but there's an easy fix for it. Once you've seen your work updated in dxtbmp, export it as a new image. Then click import --> import new image. Once you've updated the image in dxtbmp simply save and your edits should show up in RSBintool.
