G-Trax containers not showing up when loaded.

Unread postby Brickrail782 » Thu Dec 27, 2018 1:54 pm

I just installed the freeware G-Trax well cars from the file library, but the containers do not show up when the cars are loaded. I checked the file path and everything seems to be pointing in the right direction. Exactly what's going on, and how can I fix it?

Are you talking about the Portland Terminal well cars?

I assume he is talking about these...

There was an older pack on here that had single 48' wells as well, but I can't seem to find them in the library. Those might have been removed?

Did you do the RWP? Here is where the files should be.

Check it out and see if these all have something in there. We can figure this out because I know it works here.

No, that's the wrong one Buzz, this is what the pathing structure looks like in 7zip, I've just downloaded it -

Everything should be there, wellcars and shipping containers, although, I don't know how many containers there actually are.

I'm not talking about the articulated stacks, I'm talking about the pack that I linked to a few posts above.

All folders are there and contain their proper files.

Let's back up a second. You said the loads don't show up when you load the cars. The default is for them to be empty. You need to highlight them and a flyout should appear on the right side. You check that and then the load appears.

Buzz, this intrigued me, so I went testing.....

I had these installed plus the UP mod as well....
Built a new scenario, added each of the well cars, then clicked each to load it...
No go.... no load.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the Doublestacks (GX_DblStacks_RW1.rwp)(via Utilities), created a new scenario, added each car and attempted to load them....no go.

(PS. The Articulateds loaded just fine.)

EDIT: The containers are in .../RailNetwork/Interactive

The containers for these cars are in the common folder. Look at my post above and see if they are there.

That's strange, my install shows them to be a few steps down in the RailNetwork folder.
