SL Baggage_ph1Vb, SL Coach_ph1Vb & SL Sleeper_ph1Vb??

One of the scenario that need three rolling stock and I believe that there are no longer available. I am not sure whose rolling stock are? Anyway here are below:

SL Baggage_ph1Vb

SL Coach_ph1Vb

SL Sleeper_ph1Vb

I think that are from G-Trax Simulatons but could be wrong. What are the alternative for those rolling stock to fix the scenario in RW_Tools?

Those would be the Superliners that come with some Amtrak sets, more specifically: The F40Ph Pack or the Soldier Summit route.

Actually I don't think so. Those are different Phases and the Display Name does not start with SL

I think you'll find that these are DTM passenger cars, found in the folder:

Assets\DTM\Models\RailVehicles\Passenger\Superliner\Amtrak

But I am not sure where they came from!

Thank you for your reply and did check to see if I have the passenger cars in DTM folder and don't see all that I have but just all of the locomotives in this folder. Also checked on Facebook to see if DTM have released their passenger cars yet. Look like to me that they have not released this yet. I am not sure whose passenger cars start with SL.

Thank you for your reply, Buzz and I don't have them in my Assets Folder. The only way I do is to swap the passenger cars in RW_Tools.

The Soldier Summit ones do not seem to be the same. Different names (and phase II and III).

That's what I said before. I thought you read and acknowledged it first time around?

As I said - and I repeat - they are in the following folder, but don't know where they came from in the first place:

Assets\DTM\Models\RailVehicles\Passenger\Superliner\Amtrak

So I can't help you with how to get them.

However you can easily swap them with other versions of the Superliners, and there are several options, as already observed.

I believe I can shed a bit of light on this, and can give the car's release history.

The cars you are asking about seem like a direct match for cars in RSC's P42 Pack 01, the replacement to the G-Trax Simulations P42DC Pack. The original set was bundled with Superliners built by DTM, and utilized special scripting allowing the door and marker lights to work.

Not sure if it was bought out or not, but the P42DC and Superliners were then acquired by RSC, and retooled as the P42DC Empire Builder (If you owned the G-Trax P42DC, this became a free upgrade). The Same cars have been reused in the F40PH California Zephyr set, and probably others that I am missing.

Hope this helps.

Yes, exactly. You stated that each one had a Display Name starting SL xxx , and that is exactly why I pointed out the ones in the DTM folder stated above. They ARE named SL xxx, and are therefore a perfect match for what you were looking for, none of the other versions are named in that way.

But as suspected, and now clarified (thank you TVRRMAN), others are versions of the same model, unsurprisingly updated over time.
