So with the NS SD45 high hood pack come several consists. For some reason, the random wagon, pipe, and lumber consists don't show up when I try to place them. The empty gondola, boxcar, and Airslide hopper consists do show. Anyone else have this issue or know how I can fix it?

No problem here.
Have you enabled the DTM --> SD45-NS asset with the little cube for your scenario?

Yes. Sorry should have clarified: they show in the list of consists, but when I go to drop them in, nothing shows up.

It is like you didn´t have the cars Geo´s installed? Have you looked at them if they are there.
You don´t even see the couplers?

They show up individually, they just don't show up as a consist. The couplers don't show.

So the issue is in the Couplings folder

I have to say, I have no problem with mine. That's one big consist, 90 cars + 5 locos . . . but it opens up fine, including the pipe and log loads in the gondolas

Suggest you reinstall your pack, maybe you have a bad download or corrupted file.

P.S:
I assembled a short consist. All couplings showed except in one of the sides of the caboose. Some cars are not in that consist.


Opening some of the freight cars bins I can see there are links to other DLC. This is typical with DTM and was a problem with the D&RGW GP35 release.
For example, the Southern pipes car has a textures link to the SD45-SP folder.

I do agree. Reinstall the pack.

This is going to sound stupid, but how do I uninstall it? Through Steam? It doesnt show up in the Utilities package manager

Go to Steam page, right click on Train Simulator, click on the DLC tab, find the one you want to uninstall, uncheck it, exit Steam and then start it again. Go back in and check your recently uninstalled item. You made need to leave Steam and again and then start it again. You should see the bar on the bottom loading something and now you have a freshly installed copy of your item.

Followed your instructions and the consist still doesn't show when I try to load it. The cursor just stays the same, nothing seems to be affected. It's like it just isn't there

Show us the path and the folder and one of us can probably figure it out.

Yes that is exactly what mine looks like. Is the stuff in the coupler folder?
