Does QD create ghosts???

Unread postby jtousign » Tue Feb 20, 2018 12:06 am

I changed the horn of the engine ALCO FA trustee and everything works fine. However I choose the same model in QD mode but the horn doesn't work. Then I noticed a wierd thing, the number of the engine FA trustee that I changed horn is #0401 and the engine appearing in QD is # 0420!!!! As far as I know I just have ONE FA trustee model in the assets. Anyone knows what's going on with that? Same thing with Pennsylvania F7 #9819 with new horn who become strangely # 9764 without horn in QD mode... !**conf**! !*don-know!* *!rolleyes!*

The consists that are used in a QD are in a folder called "PreLoad". In the case of Horseshoe Curve the PreLoad is located in Assets/RSC/HorseshoeCurve/PreLoad. Every add-on that is QD compatible will have this "PreLoad" folder. These consist files are also used by the scenarios not just QD

Many thanks John for your reply. I took a look at the preload folder of HSC and what I understand is that the F7 engines referred in folder should be the same as the default referred into engine folder. *!!thnx!!*
